I build practical frameworks that help organizations safely adopt AI at scale.
Every company wants to use AI. Few know how to evaluate the risks. I develop the methodologies and tools that make AI governance something you can actually implement.
What I Do
At Allianz Technology, I develop AI risk assessment methodologies that help security teams evaluate AI use cases. When business and IT teams propose new AI solutions, my frameworks help determine whether they're safe to deploy. I've spent the past year building and refining these approaches, training teams to use them, and supporting ongoing assessments.
I also build automation tools that streamline security processes. I use Python and leverage AI heavily when coding. I'm not a software engineer, but I can take a complex problem, prototype a solution, and ship tools that teams actually use. It's about solving real problems, not writing perfect code.
My background spans 25 years across system administration, IT architecture, information security, and now AI risk management. I've led global security conferences, implemented agile methodologies in security teams, and mentored dozens of colleagues. I hold an MBA, CISSP, TOGAF certification, and multiple technical certifications.
The Problem I'm Solving
Organizations face a dilemma: AI offers enormous potential, but traditional security frameworks weren't built for it. Most AI governance initiatives produce documents and committees, but struggle to answer the practical question: is this specific AI use case safe to deploy?
I bridge that gap. My work combines deep cybersecurity expertise with hands-on AI development and enterprise risk management. I understand both the technical details and the business context. That combination lets me build frameworks that work in practice, not just on paper.
Beyond Work
I represented Ireland at the 2017 European Kendo Championships. The discipline and focus from martial arts shows up in how I approach complex problems.
Recently I got into MiniDisc collecting and repair. I have about 15 portable units and 3 deck units that I'm repairing and maintaining. I enjoy the troubleshooting aspect as much as the music.
I'm a husband and father who values family time and work-life balance. After two decades in Dublin, Ireland has become home.
My Journey
I started in IT in Poland in the late '90s, moved to Ireland in 2006, and joined Allianz in 2007. Over nearly two decades, I've worked as a system administrator, IT architect, Local Information Security Officer, and now Senior Associate in Corporate Information Security. I'm based in Dublin and work with global teams.
What drives me is finding innovative solutions to complex problems. I look for ways to make things better, whether that's introducing agile methodologies, organizing security conferences, or building tools that help teams work more effectively. I believe in continuous learning, mentoring others, and staying curious about emerging technology.
Let's Connect
I'm always interested in conversations about AI governance, security innovation, or mentoring the next generation of security professionals.
